Darren joined the competitive dog world in 1998, when he decided to try running Allie in the agility field. They became such a great team that Kim handed the reins over to Darren full time. They went on to place in Regional and National events as well as being in the AAC top 10's, even being #1 in Canada! It was Darren who put the final legs on Allie to make her the first Lifetime Achievement Award recipient for AAC.

Darren also took on training Liberty. Cheryl and Kim had started training her, and were more than happy to hand her over as she absolutely adored her dad! They also went on to Regional and National successes.

Darren has since trained Huck, Quinn and Tigger, and is taking on his new partners - a JRT named Pixel and a young Border Collie, Lyric
Darren loves the flyball world! He runs with "Good 2 Go" out of Regina. He has travelled to Alaska to play as well as down to Phoenix to run at the Cynosport Games.

Darren has attended seminars and camps with excellent trainers, and has come a long way with his ring partners.

Darren is a Masters level judge for AAC and all levels for UKI.
